Hi, my name is Neil van Vliet. I’m a PGA member of South Africa and New Zealand. I’ve been coaching professionally for the last 10 years and find my approach to teaching not only easy to understand but effective. I’m the Northland representative team coach and teach anybody from the advance to the beginner player.
To give my students the best advice possible to help their swing, mental game and course management I attend regular PGA teaching seminars, read books of the leading players and coaches and browse the powerful websites. I’ve worked with a lot of great players and coaches, one of them coaching Trevor Immelman (Masters 2008 Champion) as a junior. Started my apprenticeship in South Africa and 5 years ago came to New Zealand. Last year (2007) I was the Head Golf Coach at one of Europe’s leading summer camps.
I pride myself to be the first certified K-Vest Instructor in New Zealand, a 3D teaching analyser.
